La Rochelle (France)

La Rochelle is a city in western France and a seaport on the Bay of Biscay, a part of the Atlantic Ocean. La Rochelle's main feature is the Vieux Port (Old Harbour), which is at the heart of the city, picturesque and lined with seafood restaurants.

Other pictures show the Fort Boyard which was built quite outside the city to protect the bay. Quite a number of photos are also from the La Rochelle aquarium.
